Advanced Level Dogs
If your dog has already had barn hunt training and you're interested in joining a class, please email happydogkn@gmail.com. Kristy will set up a short private lesson to meet you and your dog. She'll evaluate where you are in your training and help you come up with a training plan. Then you can join an ongoing class.
How do I get started in Barn Hunt?
Sign up for one of our Introduction to Barn Hunt classes. These are offered several times throughout the year. The class meets once a week for 5 weeks. The class is about 1 to 1.5 hours and costs $125.00.

Some of the things that will be included in the class:

A brief explanation on how the game is played, a few of the rules, and a demonstration by a Masters level dog.

Introducing your dog to the rats. Teaching them to follow odor, work on indicating the tube when they find it.

Introduction to the Novice and Open level straw tunnels.

Helping dogs climb on the straw structures.
